Global Partner and Routes to Market Sales

Steve McGarr is Cisco’s Senior Director for Renewals within Global Partner and Routes to Market Sales, responsible for building and executing a partner-centric practice for renewing Cisco’s services, software support, and software subscription recurring offers. In concert with Cisco’s Customer Experience (CX) Renewals team, he is responsible for the policies, platforms, and partner engagements that support Cisco’s renewals channel experiences. In the thirteen years since joining Cisco, Steve has held global leadership responsibility for several of Cisco’s most valued and strategic partners. These partnerships have delivered consistently to Cisco’s Perform and Transform agenda by growing annual bookings through architectural focus while leading and building new offers in vertical industries, annuity services, and customer experience. Steve also led the formation of Cisco’s “Connected Conservation” initiative with Dimension Data/NTT, delivering solutions to prevent the illegal poaching of wildlife in South Africa. Prior to joining Cisco, Steve was a Senior Executive/Partner at Accenture, responsible for building new businesses with Communications and High Tech clients. Steve works from Cisco’s RTP campus in Morrisville, NC, and is a member of “Real Men Wear Pink”, supporting the American Cancer Society’s fight against breast cancer.
